Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and AI-powered command and control platforms. The company's Lattice OS transforms thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command centers, enabling autonomous flight vehicles like Anvil, Altius, and Ghost to operate in remote environments with minimal user input. In this Systems Engineer role, you will lead end-to-end development of complex electro-mechanical and aeronautical systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture, design and maintain system components that meet functional and performance specifications, and conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability and scalability in distributed systems contexts. You'll work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration, and help define software engineering processes and practices aligned with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience. You'll develop automated test scripts and frameworks, support the entire product lifecycle from development through production and sustainment, and travel up to 25% for test planning and execution. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant technical scope and responsibility for complex system design and integration, though it does not involve managing a team. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of post-graduate industry experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering - Passion for systems design development, integration, and test - Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience - Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using common languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.) - Extremely organized and detail-oriented - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Commitment to positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture - Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher - Ability to travel up to 25% as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Hands-on experience with complex robotic systems - Familiarity with IP-based networks - Experience with mission systems, including communications systems and components - Familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations
