Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a System Integration and Test Engineer to join the Space Manufacturing team in Costa Mesa, California. The Space Manufacturing team is responsible for assembly, integration, and test of ground support equipment, PCBAs, unit-level, and integrated systems vital for aerospace and defense operations. In this role, you will lead and participate in system integration and test campaigns, developing comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules while coordinating resource needs, test equipment, and facility requirements. You will lead test readiness reviews (TRRs) for flight hardware and participate in manufacturing readiness reviews (MRRs). Your responsibilities include developing, documenting, and continuously improving processes for manufacturing, assembly, and integration of PCBAs, box-level assemblies, and space vehicles in compliance with space-grade standards. You will perform hands-on hardware and software testing at unit-level and system level, conduct detailed root cause analyses (RCA) for non-conformances and anomalies identified during integration and test, and drive corrective actions. You will specify, procure, and maintain assembly tools, fixtures, and equipment required for integration and test operations. Cross-functional communication with supply chain, hardware teams, program management, and test teams will be essential to managing priorities and resolving technical challenges. The ideal candidate demonstrates holistic ownership in solving technical challenges with creative, physical solutions in fast-paced, resource-limited environments. You must be willing to work on-site full-time in Costa Mesa in cleanrooms around sensitive flight hardware, with travel up to 15% to test and supplier sites. U.S. Secret security clearance eligibility is required. **REQUIREMENTS:** - 5+ years of experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability industries, including 2+ years in hands-on integration and test of flight or comparably high-reliability hardware - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another technical discipline - Working, cross-disciplinary understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering; comfortable interpreting mechanical drawings, GD&T, electrical schematics; troubleshooting across mechanical hardware and electrical/electronic systems; interfacing with design engineers on DFM/DFA challenges - 3+ years of hands-on experience in unit-level, space-vehicle, or system integration, assembly, and environmental testing, with direct involvement in at least 2 of: vibration, thermal vacuum, acoustic, shock, or EMI/EMC - Hands-on integration or test experience with electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) or comparable sensor and payload systems (at least 1 area; preferably more than one, e.g., EO/IR, RF/communications, or optical instruments) - 3+ years of practical, hands-on experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, and DAQs - 2+ years working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and/or Material Resource Planning (MRP), including hands-on use of at least 1 as a system of record in production - 2+ years applying manufacturing process controls, quality assurance, and continuous-improvement methodologies - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
