Salary: USD 65,000 - 75,000 / annual

As Student Success Team Lead, you will manage a team of success coaches and drive student outcomes through effective coaching and data-driven strategies. Reporting to the Success Manager, you'll focus on team development, ensuring coaches build meaningful student relationships while meeting key performance goals around retention and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading weekly team meetings and pipeline sessions to identify retention strategies
- Using data and KPIs (retention, attendance, student NPS) to track performance and ensure team goals are met
- Supporting coaches in addressing challenges and improving outcomes
- Monitoring daily team activities (calls, emails, texts) to ensure effective student engagement
- Conducting call monitoring and providing feedback to improve coaching skills
- Managing a small personal caseload of students to stay connected with the coaching experience
- Partnering with leadership and stakeholders on updates, initiatives, and organizational priorities
- Acting as an escalation resource for complex student concerns
- Using data insights to identify growth areas and continuously improve the student success program
- Applying teaching or instructional experience to coach your team effectively, modeling clear communication, accountability, and student-centered practices
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in customer service, education, student support, or coaching/mentoring programs (teaching experience, particularly at high school level, is a plus)
- 3+ years of leadership experience with proven ability to manage and develop teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff
- Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to track performance and guide decisions
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed
Nice to have: Prior teaching experience or experience in education sector or mission-driven organizations.
