Salary: USD 91,659.6 - 120,303.23 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking a Strategic Insights Associate, Data Analytics to join the Pharmacy Program Management team. This role partners across the organization to identify and manage business inefficiencies proactively, supporting business units in scoping, analyzing, and monitoring performance of key financial and utilization metrics. The Associate will independently drive the scoping and execution of analytical requests, working with stakeholders to define key questions, scope methodologies, and deliver results. You will serve as the first point of contact for Senior Managers and Associate Directors, owning insights generation and follow-up for a major business unit. Key responsibilities include analyzing data to support data-driven decision-making, translating findings into clear narratives for non-technical colleagues, and packaging results in compelling presentations. You will recognize opportunities to enhance operational and analytical dashboards, define requirements for improvements, and identify opportunities to create models and tools that surface healthcare inefficiencies. Collaboration across the organization is essential, including managing stakeholder relationships with managers and senior managers to identify improvement actions and monitor initiative impact. You will also support other strategic projects as assigned. This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in Dallas, TX. You will report to the Senior Director, Pharmacy Program Management. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports - 2+ years demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and distill analyses into relevant insights with structured, systematic thought process - Strong verbal and written communication skills around business reporting impact and requirements, demonstrated by 5+ examples/projects of presenting analysis to Leadership (Director+) - 2+ years experience in SQL with ability to filter, aggregate, and build CTEs, OR proficiency in R or Python including experience with Pandas, for loops, and statistical tests - 1+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including VLookup, nested if statements, and connected Sheets - 1+ years experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance industry BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - 2+ years experience in healthcare analytics and reporting - 2+ years experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization (ACO, CIN, MSO) - 2+ years experience developing dashboards and working with Looker or other business intelligence/data visualization tools - Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, and/or population health
