Salary: USD 166,500 - 291,400 / annual
Moveworks, a ServiceNow company, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, DevOps to build and scale the Moveworks AI cloud infrastructure and developer platform. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with platform, machine learning, search, data, and frontend teams to understand their DevOps and infrastructure needs, influence the DevOps roadmap, and lead execution on complex infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and manage Moveworks cloud infrastructure across multiple regions and cloud providers, ensuring security, scalability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost optimization
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure as code and full automation to provision and manage the Moveworks application stack across different environments
- Collaborate with the security team to enhance the infrastructure security posture
- Lead complex platform and infrastructure initiatives from conception through delivery and measurement
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate their infrastructure and DevOps needs into scalable solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related roles
- Hands-on technical expertise with strong ownership mentality; proactively lead complex initiatives from conception through delivery
- Strong technical expertise designing and building AWS (or equivalent) cloud infrastructure with extensive experience in AWS security groups, IAM roles, Elastic Load Balancers, CloudFormation, and other cloud services
- Strong knowledge of VPN, AWS VPC, DNS, and experience troubleshooting network issues
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, Istio, and related container orchestration platforms
- Working knowledge of disaster recovery processes and security areas including data backup/recovery, replication, AWS KMS, certificate management, encryption, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security tools
- Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and similar infrastructure automation platforms
- Comfort working at startup pace on challenging problems with high degree of ownership
