ServiceNow's Armis division (combined with Veza's identity security capabilities) is building an autonomous defense platform for the Agentic Enterprise. The platform protects attack surfaces, manages cyber risk exposure in real time, and secures every asset and identity—including AI agents—across all environments.
You will join a dynamic engineering team as a Staff Full Stack Engineer, playing a key technical leadership role in architecting, building, and scaling complex, data-driven web applications. This is a hands-on position combining deep engineering fundamentals with modern toolsets to deliver high-impact, production-grade software.
The tech stack includes Python backend, React frontend, and AWS infrastructure, handling massive datasets at scale. You will lead end-to-end design and implementation of scalable backend microservices, database schemas, and advanced frontend infrastructures. You'll drive system architecture decisions ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across AWS cloud environments. You'll write clean, maintainable, high-performing code across both backend and frontend stacks, and utilize AI-assisted development workflows (such as Claude Code) effectively to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality, testing, and architecture.
You'll partner closely with product managers, data analysts, architects, and QA engineers to deliver complex, cross-company initiatives. You'll take end-to-end ownership of horizontal group projects and mentor team members on best engineering practices.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience building and scaling complex web applications
- Strong backend engineering foundation with extensive hands-on experience in Python, web frameworks, ORMs, system design, and relational/non-relational databases
- Solid experience with modern frontend tech stacks, specifically JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application deployment and management
- Proven experience working with Claude Code (or similar AI software development tools) as a power-user—combining high output velocity with strong engineering discipline (no "vibe coding"; deep code comprehension, rigorous review, and robust architecture required)
- Demonstrated ability to design distributed systems, microservices, and high-throughput data flows
- Self-starter mindset with strong sense of ownership and track record of driving significant technical impact
