You will join as Staff Product Manager for Billing, owning the vision, strategy, and execution of a mission-critical product area that serves as the financial engine of the business. Billing at Perk is not a back-office function but a strategic product that directly impacts market expansion and global scaling. The platform enables finance teams to analyze and forecast travel spend, automate accounting workflows, and leverage AI-powered invoice collection and partner integrations to help customers save thousands in VAT reclaims.
In this role, you will:
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Spend ecosystem
- Drive high-velocity execution with a world-class engineering and design team, making bold, fast bets informed by customer feedback, data, market research, and AI applications
- Combine customer insights with technical possibilities to craft intuitive user experiences that simplify complex financial operations
- Help millions of employees and thousands of finance teams seamlessly manage expenses, cards, and invoice processing
- Prototype rapidly using modern AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to accelerate product development
- Stay deeply engaged with AI research, industry trends, and emerging applications, applying insights creatively to Perk products
- Lead with a servant-leadership approach, empowering your team, removing distractions, and fostering creativity and collaboration

The role operates on an IRL-first model with 3 days per week in-person at one of Perk's hubs. Relocation support is available for candidates from anywhere in the world.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant experience as a Product Manager at a tech company, with proven capability in product strategy and execution
- Experience working on Tax products is a strong plus; background in development, design, or business roles is a bonus but not required
- Working knowledge of accounting reconciliation and finance operations
- Strong customer empathy and design thinking; deep understanding of the entire expense lifecycle from spend inception through automated reconciliation to ERP posting, including friction points in complex accounting workflows
- Fluency in data and data-driven product decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate product decisions and prioritization trade-offs
- Proven ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers and designers toward common goals
- Strong collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for AI demonstrated through hands-on building, prototyping, side projects, and staying current on research and tools
- Fluency with modern prototyping tools (Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments (Figma, Git)
