InPost is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to lead the strategic direction of Platform Engineering across the organization. This is a key technical leadership role that connects Platform Delivery, CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and AI Foundations into a cohesive internal platform product.
You will define and drive the long-term Platform Engineering roadmap, making strategic architectural and technology decisions across the platform domain. You'll establish engineering standards, cloud-native practices, and quality benchmarks while leading the adoption of a platform-centric operating model and self-service capabilities. A critical focus area is providing technical leadership for the migration from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and shaping the technical foundations for scalable and secure AI adoption.
You'll partner with Staff Engineers, engineering leaders, and cross-domain stakeholders to deliver a unified platform vision. This role offers strategic impact on the technology direction of the entire engineering organization and ownership of a platform used by engineering teams across the company. InPost provides a unique blend of Platform Engineering, Cloud, Reliability, Developer Experience, and AI work, with space to experiment with new technologies and bring innovations into production.
InPost is Europe's leading out-of-home (OOH) e-commerce enablement platform, operating a network of over 64,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and more than 30,000 pick-up and drop-off (PUDO) points across nine European countries. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background in Platform Engineering at scale
- Broad expertise spanning Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and Architecture
- Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service ecosystems
- Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams without relying on formal authority
- Proven ownership, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset
- Passion for mentoring senior technical talent and raising engineering standards
