As a Staff Java Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of complex software solutions for cybersecurity applications. You will oversee and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, security analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications; developing and maintaining high-quality code adhering to best practices; staying current with emerging technologies in cybersecurity and integrating new tools and techniques into development processes; and contributing to technical documentation including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
You will also design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability; participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback; and contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of experience in Java/Python and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with SQL and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of AI Tools & Agent Integration
- Solid understanding of CI/CD development lifecycle with hands-on experience in GIT version control (Github/Bitbucket/GitLab)
- Experience with Java build tools (Maven or Gradle)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Knowledge of IaC, SaaS environment concepts, and queue-based architecture
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of Solr and Snowflake
