As a Staff Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer, you will serve as a technical authority and architect across the DevOps and Infrastructure domain. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you will drive the long-term technical vision, architectural standards, and strategic roadmap for cloud platform engineering. You will solve complex infrastructure challenges, mentor senior engineers, and influence cross-functional engineering practices to support rapid business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the long-term infrastructure architecture roadmap, aligning technical investments with business growth goals
- Architect resilient, multi-region, and cost-optimized AWS cloud solutions supporting high-traffic, low-latency applications
- Build enterprise-grade developer platforms and automated self-service tooling to accelerate engineering velocity across the organization
- Establish organizational standards for system availability, disaster recovery, failover strategies, and incident management
- Define end-to-end security compliance, zero-trust network topology, and company-wide observability frameworks
- Coach, mentor, and elevate the technical capabilities of engineers across teams while championing engineering best practices
- Partner with engineering leadership, product managers, and security teams to resolve complex systemic bottlenecks
This role requires an "engineer at heart" who can balance immediate operational needs with long-term architectural scalable solutions, and who can influence architectural decisions and drive cross-team technical alignment without formal management authority.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles with a track record of architectural leadership
- Deep expertise in AWS architecture, multi-account structures, network topology, cost governance, and cloud security best practices
- Mastery of Kubernetes at scale, service meshes, and enterprise Infrastructure-as-Code management using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Expertise in designing sophisticated GitOps-driven deployment workflows using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or GitHub Actions
- Strong background with relational/NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB) and distributed caching systems (Redis, DAX) under high load
- Proficiency in scripting and software development using languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
- Ability to balance immediate operational needs with long-term architectural scalable solutions
- Proven track record of influencing architectural decisions and driving cross-team technical alignment without formal management authority
