CodeRabbit is the leading AI code review platform, trusted by 17,000+ customers and 150,000 open-source projects, processing over 2 million code reviews weekly. The company recently closed a $143M Series C at $1.5B valuation and is building Agentic Change Management—the control layer for software changes created by humans and AI agents.
In this Staff-level role, you will own and evolve CodeRabbit's GTM Systems harness—the agentic engineering pipeline that powers internal operations. This includes the Agent Build pipeline, guard hooks, worktree tooling, CI/CD, model routing, and permission tiers that keep agents safe in production environments. You'll architect systems for quote-to-cash, provisioning, and billing integrations as the company scales from product-led growth into enterprise sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the agentic engineering harness: pipeline generation, guard hooks, CI, model routing, and permission management
- Design and build full-stack internal tools and agents (TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, MCP servers) where off-the-shelf solutions fall short
- Build deeply in Salesforce: Apex patterns, triggers, LWC, Platform Events, permission sets, and metadata deployment
- Set engineering standards for Business Systems: architecture reviews, code review, testing, release runbooks, and agent-written code review processes
- Enable analysts and engineers to build their own agents (e.g., Sales OS Agent, Data Quality Agent)
- Partner with Finance, GTM, Deal Desk, and Data teams to translate business needs into scalable systems
- Mentor the team through pairing, reviews, and design docs; reduce reliance on outside consultants
You'll be the senior technical voice in Business Systems, setting patterns that engineers, analysts, and AI agents follow. This is a full-stack role spanning Salesforce, web applications, APIs, databases, and agentic workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
- Deep, hands-on Salesforce engineering: Apex, LWC, data modeling, sharing/security, source-driven deployment with Salesforce CLI
- Strong full-stack software engineering beyond Salesforce: production web apps, APIs, and databases you have built and operated
- Real experience building with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) including guardrails for safe agent output: tests, CI gates, review, scoped permissions
- Track record integrating GTM systems end-to-end: CRM to billing, CPQ, provisioning, data warehouse, reverse ETL, pipeline generation workflows
- Staff-level judgment: owned architecture across systems you did not build, made decisions with teams outside your reporting line, changed how teams work
- Clear writing: design docs, PR descriptions, and runbooks that enable others to act without meetings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of Salesforce and full-stack engineering
- Production experience with Python, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Experience with subscription billing platforms: Chargebee, Stripe, Zuora, including usage-based or marketplace billing (AWS, GCP, GitHub Marketplace)
- Experience building MCP servers, LLM evaluations, or human-in-the-loop approval workflows for agents
- Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Clay, or event-driven integration patterns
- Familiarity with developer-tools or technical B2B SaaS go-to-market, including PLG-to-sales-led transitions
