As a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take on a high-impact individual contributor role with significant scope across the entire technology stack. You'll architect and build complex features end-to-end, spanning both frontend and backend systems. Your responsibilities include designing elegant, maintainable solutions; mentoring and guiding junior engineers; participating actively in code reviews; and advocating for best practices like unit testing and continuous integration. You'll collaborate closely with teammates through pair programming and other mechanisms, contributing to team acceleration while maintaining your own high output.
The role requires comfort across the full stack: backend expertise in JVM languages (Java, Kotlin) or Python, frontend mastery of TypeScript and React for building large-scale applications, and familiarity with databases, distributed computing, and cloud platforms. You'll also work with generative AI infrastructure and applications as part of the product roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Substantial professional experience in software development with a proven track record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems over multiple years
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript
- Expertise in one or more backend languages: Java, Kotlin, or Python
- Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications
- Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills with ability to guide and mentor junior engineers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team environments
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
