Seeq is a fully remote, venture-backed company building cutting-edge data analytics software for industrial process data across pharmaceuticals, energy, and manufacturing. As a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take on a high-impact individual contributor role with significant mentorship and leadership responsibilities. You'll architect and own features end-to-end across our full tech stack: TypeScript + React on the frontend, and JVM languages (Java, Kotlin) or Python on the backend. You'll work with distributed computing, cloud platforms, and generative AI infrastructure. Your scope extends beyond your own technical output—you'll guide and mentor junior engineers, advocate for engineering excellence through code reviews and pair programming, and help scale the team's capabilities. You'll collaborate in an agile environment with a talented, collaborative team that values elegant, maintainable code, comprehensive testing, and continuous improvement. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) - Substantial professional software development experience with a proven track record of designing, building, and evolving complex systems over multiple years - Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices - Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript - Expertise in one or more backend languages: Java, Kotlin, or Python - Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications - Ability to own features end-to-end across frontend and backend codebases - Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail - Proven leadership and mentoring skills with ability to guide junior engineers - Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments - Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
