Axiado is seeking a Staff Firmware Engineer to lead integration and validation of security solutions with high-performance NVIDIA-based server systems. This is a specialized role focused on resolving complex issues arising from NVIDIA's System Software Validation Toolkit (NVSSVT) and ensuring compliance with NVRASTool requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
• Validation & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve failures in NVIDIA's NVSSVT and NVRAS suites, focusing on stress tests, diagnostics, and system benchmarks.
• Protocol Development: Implement and tune MCTP and PLDM over PCIe/SMbus/USB to enable seamless communication between the Axiado security processor and NVIDIA NVSwitch/GPU components.
• RAS Implementation: Work on NVIDIA RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) features to ensure predictable system behavior during hardware or firmware errors.
• BMC Integration: Develop and optimize BMC firmware (OpenBMC-based) to support management of NVIDIA GPUs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with system teams to review schematics and ensure firmware alignment with NVIDIA's Fabric Manager and GPU software stacks.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of firmware engineering experience, specifically in BMC or server manageability
• Direct experience with NVIDIA GPU deployment tools, XID error debugging, and NVLink topology validation
• High proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and Python/Shell for automation and validation scripts
• In-depth knowledge of IPMI 2.0, Redfish, and the MCTP/PLDM stack
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
PREFERRED:
• Experience with NVIDIA Fabric Manager and high-availability modes in DGX/HGX systems
• Familiarity with Root of Trust (RoT) and Secure Boot mechanisms
• Previous experience achieving NVSSVT compliance for BIOS/BMC vendors
