Slide Insurance is hiring Staff Counsel attorneys to join its growing legal team. This role offers opportunities in both pre-suit and litigation capacities, with the posting focused on the Litigation Staff Counsel track.
In this position, you will handle cases through all phases of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trials. You will manage litigation strategy and represent the company in court, working independently to analyze legal issues and manage cases with minimal supervision. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

**Requirements:**
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- 4+ years of litigation experience in Florida
- First-party property defense experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and insurance-related statutes
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skills
- Ability to independently analyze legal issues and manage cases with minimal supervision
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong commitment to professionalism, ethics, and company core values
