Veza, now part of ServiceNow following its March 2026 acquisition, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services for its Access Graph platform—a cutting-edge identity security solution that maps enterprise identity ecosystems across users, groups, roles, policies, permissions, and resources. The platform manages over 30 billion access permissions for global enterprises including Blackstone, Expedia, and Wynn Resorts.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on high performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, UX designers, and security experts to build features that meet business objectives and security standards
- Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities to ensure visibility and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Optimize and improve platform performance, security, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and refactoring
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation

Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong backend programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Rust, Python, or similar languages
- Background in enterprise-grade distributed systems
- Strong understanding and experience with AI development tools
- Deep understanding of software design principles with a practical, hands-on mindset
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of relational databases and caching mechanisms
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Background in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) industry is a plus
