Salary: USD 140,000 - 180,000 / annual
WithMe, Inc. is a profitable, remote-first company that delivers technology-powered amenities to clients and guests. Operating across all 50 states and ranked among the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the US for three consecutive years, WithMe operates two primary brands: PrintWithMe (automated printing solutions in coffee shops, coworking spaces, and multifamily buildings) and SipWithMe (automated specialty coffee solutions). The company is actively scaling with major national multifamily housing managers and owners.
You will join as a Senior Software Engineer (Level III), reporting to the Engineering Manager. This is a full-stack role where you will design, build, test, and ship software powering the product suite while driving company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and deliver reliable, scalable software across the full stack
- Drive technical direction and architecture for key product areas and platform systems
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, coordinating priorities across Engineering, Product, and Design
- Own complex features and projects from scoping and design through implementation, deployment, and monitoring
- Establish and improve engineering standards, best practices, code quality, and testing processes
- Lead architectural improvements, system migrations, and scaling initiatives
- Identify and proactively address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and system reliability risks
- Collaborate with Engineering Management on roadmap planning, resource capacity, and hiring
- Translate complex technical decisions into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor engineers at all levels through code reviews, technical guidance, and professional development
- Support production systems through troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Six (6) or more years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale technical initiatives and delivering complex software solutions
- Deep understanding of system design, software architecture, and technical tradeoffs
- Strong proficiency in modern software engineering practices: version control, automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD
- Experience with modern frontend and backend technologies (Node.js, React, TypeScript)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), monitoring, and production support
- Demonstrated success driving system migrations, platform scaling, or architectural transformations
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, establish technical standards, and elevate engineering practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Experience working in agile/scrum environments
