ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Web Interfaces Engineering group. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and developing web applications across the full technology stack—from persistence and services to platform and performance optimization, with a strong focus on user experience.
You will work in a Scrum-based Agile environment that emphasizes hands-on coding over heavy documentation and meetings. Your responsibilities include translating business requirements and design mockups into fully functional features by collaborating closely with product owners and designers. You'll design and implement software solutions that are simple, intuitive, and built with a platform-development mindset to solve real-world problems. The role requires working across multiple technology tiers and staying current with modern web technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS, ReactJS, Redux)
- 3+ years of experience with Java-based web applications and cloud-based applications
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and cloud/web technologies
- Expertise in writing Java and JavaScript code (strong candidates with other OO languages considered)
- Expertise with HTML technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX/Web Services
- Experience in coding, object-oriented and modularized software
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, PM, design) with varying skill sets
- Superior communication skills and ability to work directly with business owners
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Expertise in JavaScript ES6, Angular.js, React, HTML5, CSS3, Java 8, and GraphQL
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server)
- Experience developing cloud-based applications
- Familiarity with Unix shell and functional programming
- Expertise in unit and integration test automation
