As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on high-impact projects that power LogRocket's core platform. Example projects include: designing systems to automatically detect common user paths across millions of events; implementing search backends that enable real-time searching across billions of log entries; building machine learning pipelines that automatically detect bugs in customer applications; automating database scaling to optimize operating costs while maintaining responsiveness to traffic spikes; and creating systems that recommend integrations to customers based on their existing toolset.
You will be part of an engineering team focused on building software with care and craftsmanship. The role involves full-stack development across cloud infrastructure, backend systems, and modern web technologies. You'll have the opportunity to leverage AI-assisted development tools and contribute to building AI-powered capabilities into the product.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in a full-stack development role
- At least one previous full-time software engineering role
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art cloud technologies, including architectural principles, specific tools, and their strengths/weaknesses
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and enthusiasm for building AI-powered capabilities
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript-based applications and frameworks
