Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 / annual

OpenGov is seeking a Senior Manager, GTM Finance & Strategy to lead financial strategy and business partnership for the Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing functions. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on OpenGov's growth trajectory, reporting to the Director of GTM Finance & Strategy and working closely with the CFO and GTM leadership. You will manage a Sr. Analyst and own the analytical infrastructure, financial narrative, and strategic advisory relationship for the GTM business. Key responsibilities include: - Managing and developing a Sr. Analyst with clear direction, coaching, and prioritization support - Driving financial strategy and performance narrative for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, connecting operational drivers to enterprise-wide financial outcomes - Forecasting and explaining topline performance (bookings, capacity, productivity, retention, pipeline coverage, win rates, backlog) at product and segment level - Owning end-to-end ARR reporting infrastructure configuration and maintenance; collaborating with Commercial Ops on CPQ data and with Accounting on GAAP revenue dynamics - Managing the GTM P&L, including forecasting and managing spend (headcount, T&E, commissions) and driving accountability through budget vs. actual partnership - Architecting and continuously improving financial models, reporting infrastructure, and forecasting frameworks - Leading high-impact strategic projects including long-range planning, go-to-market strategy, sales capacity analysis, market analysis, and variable compensation design - Building deep partnerships cross-functionally with Sales, Professional Services, RevOps, Customer Success, and the CFO's office OpenGov is the leader in AI and ERP solutions for local and state governments, serving more than 2,000 cities, counties, state agencies, school districts, and special districts. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred) - 6–10+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth SaaS environment with demonstrated progression of scope and ownership - Prior experience managing or developing others with a track record of raising the bar for a team - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives - Track record of driving structured, well-reasoned analysis and decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, largely independently - Advanced financial modeling skills; ability to build complex models from first principles and make them scalable - Fluency with CRM/CPQ data and BI tools (Looker); comfortable working directly with complex, messy data to diagnose and resolve issues - Active experimentation with AI tools to simplify and scale work; ability to build workflows rather than workarounds and think in systems - Established experience partnering directly with and influencing senior/executive business leaders - Low ego, high output orientation with focus on the work rather than credit
