As Senior HR Generalist, you will serve as the operational backbone of the People Team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, HRBP. You will balance tactical HR execution with strategic workforce planning to create an exceptional employee experience. Key Responsibilities: - Drive workforce strategy by partnering with People leadership on HR initiatives and talent development that support organizational growth - Manage employee relations autonomously, including investigations, documentation, and coaching managers on performance feedback - Serve as subject matter expert for leave-of-absence administration, managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with ADA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA - Maintain HR operations and compliance through regular audits of HR records, employment documentation, unemployment claims management, and adherence to state and federal labor laws including FLSA - Collaborate with payroll team on regulatory reporting and W-2 preparation, providing backup coverage for essential payroll processing - Champion workplace culture by serving as an accessible People Team presence on site, driving engagement initiatives, coordinating events, and addressing employee inquiries - Optimize People processes by identifying workflow friction and leveraging technology and data to streamline operations Requirements: - 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally in fast-paced, process-oriented, or regulated environments - Strong foundation in employment law (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA) with keen attention to detail for HR audits - Ability to handle sensitive employee situations with fairness, discretion, and sound judgment - Highly organized with ability to manage HRIS data administration, event logistics, and leave audits simultaneously - Track record of helping leaders develop management skills and guiding them through difficult conversations and performance plans - Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex HR processes clearly
