Stay22 is a Montreal-based platform that helps creators and digital platforms monetize their traffic. The company processes over $1 billion in annual transactions and serves 6,500+ creators and platforms across travel, retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transport.
The Platform team supports a product reaching 100+ million unique users monthly. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the core infrastructure that powers the platform. You'll architect infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes, automate deployment and configuration, and ensure high performance and availability through monitoring and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure as code artifacts and applications
- Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects with automated security integration
- Design and support resiliency and scalability using GCP and other cloud platforms, incorporating SRE and DevOps practices to minimize downtime
- Configure application monitoring using industry-standard tools and develop customized monitoring solutions
- Create and manage development, staging, and production environments with consistency and alignment to project requirements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations
- Articulate long-term vision for infrastructure maintenance and scaling, including capacity and cost planning
- Interpret security policies and ensure platform designs conform to security guidelines
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control using GitHub
You'll own infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and environments, setting the long-term vision for scaling and cost optimization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex infrastructure into something an entire engineering team can build upon.
The hiring process includes: screening call (30 min), hiring manager interview (45 min), technical interview with engineering team (60 min, in-person), and final interview with CEO (30 min).
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience implementing Platform and DevOps solutions
- 3+ years in a high-performing DevOps team or related roles
- 2+ years of experience in performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment
- Experience with hybrid cloud and migrating infrastructure between clouds
- Excellent experience delivering Infrastructure as Code via Terraform
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Colima, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting or coding skills in Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Experience supporting pipeline tools (GitHub, CircleCI)
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards, including secure coding and vulnerability scanning
