monday.com is seeking a Solutions Software Engineer to join the Solutions Engineering team in New York. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) focused on developing custom solutions for strategic customers using monday.com's platform, APIs, and app development framework.
You will partner closely with Solutions Engineers and Account Executives to unblock strategic deals, renewals, expansions, and technical proof-of-concepts. Your responsibilities include leading deep technical and business discovery sessions with customers to understand requirements and use cases, translating customer pain points into clearly scoped technical designs, and building production-grade custom solutions using monday.com's app framework, APIs, SDKs, and automation tools.
You'll develop full-stack solutions (front-end, back-end, integrations, and hosting) with exposure to deployment and DevOps considerations. You'll resolve bugs and provide ongoing support for live custom solutions in the service environment. Project engagements typically range from 2-6 weeks in duration, requiring you to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of professional experience building web applications from scratch using TypeScript/Node.js/React
- Experience leading hands-on projects from A to Z in a production environment, preferably client-facing
- Full-stack development experience
- Client-centric understanding and passion for building software that provides great user experience
- Willingness to work independently and learn new skills
