As a Solutions Integration Architect focused on SAP, you will be responsible for building the technical foundation that powers Zip's ERP and integration ecosystem. This is an internal technical enablement role that bridges complex customer environments with clean architectural solutions, working closely with Product and Engineering teams. Key responsibilities include: - Designing, maintaining, and iterating on Zip's core SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) and Ariba integration templates to ensure scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations - Partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to keep integration templates aligned with product architecture, field insights, and customer needs - Analyzing complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system nuances, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets - Supporting pre-sales engineering by designing and vetting integration architectures for prospective customers - Defining, documenting, and championing technical solution consulting best practices across all implementations - Building expertise across multiple ERP ecosystems while deepening knowledge of SAP, P2P processes, Materials Management (MM), and Financials (FI) modules - Approaching technical challenges with an engineering mindset—designing solutions thoroughly once so future implementations scale effortlessly - Balancing high-level architectural design with hands-on work in API configurations and template modifications Your work will directly influence how hundreds of future implementations are delivered, raising the technical bar for both internal EPD teams and the customer-facing technical consultant organization. QUALIFICATIONS: - 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with SAP ERP environments (ECC, S/4HANA) or procurement platforms (Ariba) - Strong foundational knowledge of core SAP business processes and data models within Materials Management (MM) and Financials (FI) - Familiarity with standard SAP integration methods such as IDocs, BAPI/RFC, OData APIs, or SAP BTP/CPI - Familiarity with iPaaS tools preferred; strong core integration logic with ability to learn new platform tools quickly - Experience working with XML/REST-based endpoints and standard authentication protocols - Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration, or administration experience required - Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying technical knowledge - Comfortable working with API documentation, testing, and troubleshooting integration errors - Ability to understand customer requirements and document information quickly with minimal oversight - Continuous learner open to new technologies - Strong communication skills, extreme attention to detail, and proactive approach - Experience working with product and engineering teams - Process-driven with strong bias toward continuous improvement
