Glean is a Work AI platform that helps enterprises deploy, govern, and scale AI across their organizations. The company has evolved from an enterprise search solution into a full-scale AI ecosystem, powering intelligent search, AI assistants, and scalable AI agents on a secure, open platform. With over 100 enterprise SaaS connectors and flexible LLM choice, Glean serves customers across 50+ industries with 1,000+ employees globally.
You will lead and grow the Admin Console engineering team, owning strong technical direction and architecture for one of Glean's most critical product surfaces. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing the Admin Console engineering team with strong technical direction
- Owning architecture and execution for core admin workflows: data source setup, security configuration, deployment management, and feature rollout controls
- Partnering closely with Product and Design to simplify complex enterprise workflows and improve usability
- Evolving the Admin Console from a data-setup-focused system into a broader control plane for enterprise context, actions, governance, and AI capability management
- Improving self-serve activation so admins can deploy faster with less support dependency
- Enhancing visibility into crawl health, connector status, indexing progress, permissions, and rollout readiness
- Building systems that help admins safely scale Glean across users, teams, and capabilities through a coherent interface
- Collaborating with backend, connector, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver unified admin experiences
This is a full-stack role requiring someone who can guide architecture, partner deeply with cross-functional teams, and grow a strategically important team in a fast-moving environment.

- Product-minded with focus on customer impact, clear SLAs/SLOs, and pragmatic iteration
- Ownership-driven with positive, proactive attitude; comfortable leading projects
- Experience building enterprise SaaS, enterprise platform, admin console, or similarly configurable product experiences
- Experience working on products where usability, governance, permissions, and technical complexity all matter
- Experience mentoring engineers with different technical strengths, including frontend and backend team members
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape roadmap, architecture, and team execution in fast-moving environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort partnering with product, design, security, and platform teams
