Salary: USD 190,000 - 260,000 / annual
Centralize is a relationship intelligence platform for enterprise revenue teams, replacing legacy CRMs with modern systems that help sales reps identify key stakeholders and close larger deals. The company has raised $18M+ in Series A funding led by NEA, with backing from Salesforce Ventures and Y Combinator, and counts Webflow, Intercom, Brex, Cognition, LangChain, and Cresta as customers. Founded by Rachit Kataria (founding engineer at Facebook Shops) and Will Wang (led Slack Huddles launch), the company has grown 5x year-over-year.
As a Product Engineer, you will own entire product lines end-to-end: conducting direct customer conversations to identify what to build, scoping with founders, shipping production code across the full stack, measuring outcomes, and iterating. You'll work across React and Next.js frontends, scalable backend systems, third-party integrations, and LLM pipelines. You'll collaborate directly with Rachit and Will on weekly product and architecture decisions, and set the bar for engineering quality and shipping velocity.
Success milestones include shipping your first PR to production in week one, owning your first feature end-to-end by day 15 (including customer conversations that scoped it), and leading a product line with daily customer usage by day 60.
The team is small and intentionally lean, with no politics or waiting for permission. You'll own unglamorous work alongside exciting work—the 9pm customer request, buried integrations, and untouched bugs—because the next thing you build is better for it. You won't have answers handed to you; you'll figure out the roadmap, architecture, and customer prioritization yourself. The company hires people energized by ambiguity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience building a product from zero to one, or leading a high-impact technical initiative at a growth-stage or larger company
- Strong product instincts; ability to sit in customer calls and know what to build next without being told
- Excellent written and verbal English communication; can write clear Looms and PR descriptions
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently; given goals, not steps
- Expertise across complex frontend and backend systems: React, Next.js, background job infrastructure, database architecture
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience shipping LLM-powered products to production with rigorous evaluation practices
- Direct exposure to enterprise sales cycles (participating in or observing customer calls)
- Prior experience as founder, founding engineer, or early engineer at top-tier early-stage company
NOT A FIT IF:
- You want detailed specs and a clear ticket queue
- You prefer narrow specialization (product engineers here work full-stack and across product surfaces)
- You want a slower pace (company works hard and moves quickly)
