Platform Science is an open IoT platform founded in 2015 that connects fleets, app developers, vehicle manufacturers, and equipment suppliers in the transportation sector to deliver innovative solutions to supply chain professionals worldwide.
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Londrina, Brazil (hybrid). You will develop scalable web solutions for our global market, working within cross-functional teams composed of software engineers, QA specialists, hardware engineers, and product managers. You will participate actively in technical requirement analysis, code reviews, and technical discussions to drive collective team growth. The role emphasizes agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborative problem-solving with a focus on system quality, consistency, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web solutions for the global market
- Work in cross-functional teams with complementary expertise (Software, QA, Hardware, Product)
- Apply agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in daily work
- Participate in code reviews and technical knowledge sharing
- Contribute to technical requirement analysis and system design
Required Experience:
- Solid experience developing software APIs with Kotlin, Java, or similar languages
- Web application frameworks (SpringBoot)
- UI development with React, Angular, or similar
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Cloud software development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Test automation (unit and integration tests)
- Event-driven systems and streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Desirable Skills:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Holistic quality assurance (end-to-end testing, performance testing)
- NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis)
- Data consolidation tools (DOMO)
- Vector data structures
- Process automation (scripts, workflows, RPA, or orchestration tools like N8N, Airflow, Zapier, Make)
- API integration (REST/GraphQL), authentication (OAuth, tokens), and data manipulation (JSON, CSV)
