Salary: EUR 48,000 - 60,000 / annual
Doctolib is transforming healthcare by building innovative products and features that improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. As part of their expansion into Italy through a partnership with Vettore Medical, they are seeking a Software Engineer II to join their tech team in Milan.
You will be part of a team of 400+ software engineers working on a cloud SaaS solution for clinics and medical offices. In this role, you will join a small feature team responsible for evolving the product and integrating it within Doctolib's broader ecosystem. Your work will help thousands of healthcare professionals spend more time caring for their patients by deploying high-quality, secure, performant, and well-tested code to some of Europe's largest medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new features using Java (Kotlin) and Microsoft (.NET, C#) technologies
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Work closely with product and other tech teams (infrastructure, security, tooling) to help define the roadmap
- Write test-driven, pragmatically engineered code
The role is permanent, full-time, and hybrid-based in Milan (Via Pisani 19). Requirements:
- Knowledge of object-oriented coding languages (Java, C#, or similar)
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Ability to write test-driven code and eagerness to learn
