Mirage is an AI-native video platform that intelligently orchestrates production and editing through natural language. The platform leverages AI models to execute creative decisions a professional editor would make, dramatically improving productivity for experienced teams while making video creation accessible to anyone.
As a Software Engineer on the iOS team, you will own end-to-end product experiences for creative workflows, pushing the boundaries of the iOS ecosystem by building sophisticated creative tools that span delightful user interfaces, graphics rendering, and audio/video processing. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will have a high degree of ownership and agency over your projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Push the boundaries of iOS and build products that shape the future of video software
- Collaborate with designers and the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to users
- Operate effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end
- Instrument, A/B test, and iterate rapidly with production data

All roles require in-person presence at the NYC headquarters located in Union Square.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of professional industry experience
- Track record of shipping high-impact, native mobile products in production
- Excellent engineering taste combined with strong practicality and time-management
- Experience with (ideally multiple): SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, ReactiveSwift, AVFoundation, Core Animation, and Realm
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures)
PREFERRED:
- Experience with OpenGL or Metal
- Grounded, collaborative approach and willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team win
- Background as a startup founder or early engineer at a startup
