Legora is an AI-native legal workspace trusted by 2,100+ customers across 80+ countries, including top law firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, and Linklaters. The company has scaled to $200M+ ARR and operates teams across Europe, North America, and APAC.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer Management Platform, you will own the systems that every Legora customer account runs through—organizations, users, memberships, roles, region and storage routing—as well as Back Office, the control plane used by internal operators daily. This is a full-stack ownership role where your users sit in the same building, enabling tight feedback loops and real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the customer account platform end-to-end: provisioning, identity and membership, and the foundational records other teams depend on
- Identify high-friction bottlenecks and issues in customer-related processes and solve them with durable, maintainable engineering solutions
- Build integrations with external systems to ensure seamless workflows
- Work with a modern stack (TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, Notion AI/Serval, and cloud infrastructure) to deliver tooling that people actually want to use
- Collaborate closely with People, IT, Operations, and Product teams to understand problems and ship solutions
You are an experienced engineer drawn to systems where correctness and blast radius matter. You're pragmatic and delivery-focused, understanding the difference between a perfect system and the right system for right now. You're comfortable working across the stack—APIs, integrations, automation, light frontends—whatever it takes. You have a product mindset about internal users: you talk to them, iterate fast, and measure impact. Strong communication skills allow you to translate messy operational problems into clean technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience building customer management platforms or workflow automation (strong plus)
- Demonstrated ability to work across the full stack
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Product mindset and ability to iterate based on user feedback
