Nimble Robotics is an AI robotics company building autonomous supply chain solutions to power fast, efficient, and economical commerce. The company is training robot AGI to power a generalist supply chain superhumanoid capable of performing thousands of tasks across supply chain operations. As a Software Engineer III, Cloud, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and developing automation workflows that power Nimble's cloud infrastructure and robotics platform. You will write comprehensive unit, integration, and system tests, conduct rigorous code reviews, and ensure your work is elegantly coded and optimized for performance and quality. You will push and maintain code in production environments, be available for production support, and measure and debug performance bottlenecks across a suite of products. A key responsibility is shipping features end-to-end, spanning frontend, backend, CI/CD, and infrastructure. You will also mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their growth.
The role is based at Nimble's San Francisco office (488 8th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103) and is in-office. **Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer, R&D Engineer, or related position
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge in:
- Building full-stack cloud applications (frontend and backend)
- REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Technical documentation (architecture diagrams, sequence diagramming)
- Cloud security practices
