AiPrise is a global compliance orchestration platform serving fintechs, marketplaces, and payment companies. The platform integrates with 80+ identity and compliance vendors and is now building AI-powered compliance agents for KYB, AML, sanctions screening, and risk scoring.
You will join as a frontend-focused full stack engineer, owning features end-to-end from design through deployment and iteration. Your primary focus will be on customer-facing surfaces: onboarding flows, Web/Flutter/React Native SDKs, and the case management product used by compliance teams. You'll also build the backend APIs and data infrastructure these features require.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and ship product features across the stack with frontend emphasis
- Own features from requirements through implementation, deployment, and monitoring
- Build KYC/KYB onboarding flows including forms, document upload, ID capture, selfie and liveness detection
- Ensure flows work reliably across devices, browsers, and customer apps via SDKs
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with attention to performance on low-end devices and slow networks
- Debug and resolve production issues with urgency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, compliance, and customer success teams
Success milestones: In 3 months, you'll have shipped 2-3 significant features and own a key product area (e.g., ID capture, an SDK, or case management component). In 9 months, you'll be the go-to technical owner for a critical product area, driving technical decisions and measurably improving user-facing metrics like onboarding completion or speed.
The company is YC-backed, operates across 200+ countries, and emphasizes rapid shipping—code reaches production in days, not months. You'll work in-person with a mission-driven team in Bengaluru fighting financial crime and fraud for customers including Meta and leading fintechs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- 2–4 years of professional experience building and shipping production software
- Strong TypeScript and React, including performance optimization and state management
- Solid HTML and CSS with responsive, mobile-first design
- Experience building REST APIs in Python or Node.js and working with relational databases
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end from ambiguous requirements to production
- Good product and UX sense
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; comfortable in unfamiliar codebases
- Clear communication
Nice-to-have:
- Mobile web, camera, or media API experience; cross-browser troubleshooting
- Flutter or React Native experience, or SDK/library development
- Web performance and frontend testing tools
- FinTech, RegTech, payments, or identity verification background
- Hands-on AWS, CI/CD, or Docker experience
