Harmony is an AI voice venture built inside monday.com that enables businesses to deploy AI agents capable of holding real phone conversations. The platform handles real-time audio pipelines, agent orchestration, telephony integrations, and customer-facing tools for building and monitoring voice agents.
As a Software Engineer on the Harmony team, you will design and build backend services that power live voice conversations, focusing on low-latency, real-time, and reliable systems under load. You'll develop the platform customers use to create, test, and analyze their voice agents, and integrate with telephony providers, CRMs, calendars, and the broader monday.com ecosystem. Working closely with AI researchers, you'll transform research prototypes into production systems and own your work end-to-end—from architecture and code quality through observability and performance optimization.
The team is small and ships fast. Engineers here take ownership of features from design through production and work shoulder-to-shoulder with AI scientists to turn models into products.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience building production backend or full-stack systems
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, or deep experience in a comparable stack with willingness to switch
- Solid grasp of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and event-driven architectures
- Bias for shipping: pragmatic, fast, and rigorous where it matters
- Bonus: experience with real-time audio or streaming, telephony (SIP, WebRTC), or LLM-powered products
