Amperos Health is building healthcare's first AI-native denial management and revenue recovery platform. The company recently closed a $16M Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners and is tackling a $260B+ problem in revenue cycle management (RCM) for healthcare providers.
In this role, you'll work as a fullstack engineer (with backend expertise) to build an agentic platform that handles administrative workflows for healthcare providers. You'll partner closely with customers to prototype and productize end-to-end solutions, working on voice AI, browser agents, and generative AI features alongside traditional full-stack development. The work spans from 0-1 projects (building new capabilities) to 1-X scaling (productizing prototypes), and you'll develop deep expertise in RCM workflows to make informed engineering and product decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering directly with customers to build end-to-end agentic workflows
- Developing voice AI, browser agents, and generative AI features
- Building traditional full-stack features, tools, and automations
- Leading both greenfield and scaling projects
- Developing domain expertise in healthcare billing and RCM to inform product decisions
The team values product-minded engineers who can work directly with customers, communicate proactively, and take ownership with high agency. You'll work in an in-person culture at their Flatiron office in NYC with flexible hours, paid lunch and dinner, gym stipend, commuter benefits, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and annual offsites.
Requirements:
- Strong fullstack engineering skills with backend expertise
- Ability to build LLM products
- Experience working directly with customers to solve problems (not just following specs)
- High agency and ability to figure things out independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to wear different hats and do whatever is necessary
- Interest in building in underserved industries like healthcare billing and RCM
