UiPath is seeking a Software Engineer to develop user-facing features for its Autopilot AI assistant platform. Autopilot enables users to create, edit, and publish automations through natural language, predict user actions, and provide recommendations. The platform also supports conversational interaction for understanding best practices and iterating on suggestions.
In this role, you will:
- Perform full-stack development for Autopilot using TypeScript, Python, or C#
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of code
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to address them
- Plan, design, develop, and test software systems and applications
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation practices
- Collaborate with small, cross-functional product and marketing teams to launch platform features
- Architect reusable, evolvable codebases aligned with product evolution

REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of professional coding experience with strong, production-level proficiency in TypeScript (or JavaScript), Python, and/or C#
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns
- Ability to translate functional and UX requirements into working products promptly
- Knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous programming, and test frameworks
- Knowledge of basic data structures (list, vector, stack, heap) and basic algorithms (sort, search) with understanding of time/memory complexity
NICE TO HAVE:
- Previous experience as a software engineer on an AI product
- Python experience
- Prompt engineering knowledge
