Nuvo is redefining the $11T B2B commerce and payments market by bringing B2B commerce online. While consumer commerce has been transformed by technology, the B2B economy—three times larger—still relies on outdated methods like paper forms, PDFs, emails, faxes, phone calls, and spreadsheets. Nuvo aims to do for B2B what Shopify, Stripe, and Square did for consumer commerce, modernizing how businesses manage trading relationships and commerce activities across complex supply chains. As a Software Engineer, you will help build category-defining products that solve real-world problems at scale. You'll work on challenges spanning multi-party workflow automation, identity, risk management, and large-scale data systems. Your role involves partnering closely with engineering, design, and product teams to shape the roadmap and build 0-1 products with significant impact on team culture, customers, and the broader economy. Key responsibilities include writing and reviewing high-quality, clean, and performant code; collaborating with the team to implement intuitive user experiences; playing an active role in shaping engineering culture and establishing best practices; and contributing to team growth. You'll have the flexibility to use the best tools for the job—the team has experience with Vue, GraphQL, and has even built custom DSLs for defining roles and permissions. What matters most is the impact you create. The role is based in San Francisco with an option for New York, full-time, in-office. Requirements: - 2+ years of prior experience building and shipping user-facing products from start to finish - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical solutions clearly - Passion for internet technologies and knowledge of trends in modern software engineering - Experience working in an early-stage engineering team or fast-growing company solving hard, ambiguous problems with a strong bias for action
