In this Software Engineer role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to build and improve Lumi's proprietary lending, risk management, and customer service systems. You'll design and deliver technical solutions using TypeScript and React, participate in code reviews, and contribute to agile ceremonies. The role emphasizes continual platform improvement across performance, scalability, and maintainability, with opportunities to explore and apply AI technologies to enhance customer outcomes, internal processes, and engineering productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience developing applications with TypeScript and React
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and experience with distributed microservices
- Disciplined engineering practices: unit and integration testing, code review, security and reliability consideration
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to explore options and weigh trade-offs
- Ownership mindset, supporting solutions through development and production
- Experience with or curiosity about generative AI tools in software development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with desire to learn and support others
