Salary: USD 221,187 - 290,000 / annual

In this Software Engineer role, you will plan, build, and maintain full-stack application features and engineering infrastructure for Harvey's SaaS platform. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript, CSS (including TailwindCSS), and Python
• Leverage Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologies to support performance and scalability of fast-growing SaaS products
• Design and maintain cloud-based software infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Scale large software systems to support low-latency, high-volume usage patterns
• Explore, leverage, and implement AI-first processes and tools to improve engineering quality and velocity
• Collaborate with teammates and customers to identify, diagnose, and resolve engineering and product issues
• Serve in an on-call rotation to manage production escalations

Work arrangement: Must appear in office 3 days per week at 201 3rd Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, CA 94103; work-from-home permissible 2 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a product-focused, full-stack software engineering role or related role
• Demonstrated experience developing full-stack web applications using React and TypeScript
• Proficiency implementing user interfaces using CSS, including TailwindCSS
• Experience developing application functionality using Python
• Experience building and maintaining fast-growing SaaS applications
• Experience with Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologies
• Ability to design and maintain cloud-based software infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting systems
• Experience scaling large software systems to support low-latency and high-volume usage
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues in large software systems and engineering infrastructure
• Comfort exploring and implementing AI-first processes and tools
