Monday.com is an AI work platform serving 250,000+ customers. The Agentic Solutions team, part of the Chief Customer Office (CCO), builds customer-facing AI agents and intelligent experiences for Support and Customer Success.
In this role, you'll design, build, and operate AI agents that help monday.com customers resolve issues, onboard, and drive adoption. You'll own solutions end-to-end: understanding customer needs, defining success metrics, building full-stack features (backend services, APIs, integrations, UI), and measuring impact in production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning customer-facing AI agent solutions from problem definition through production measurement
- Designing and shipping production-grade features across the stack: backend services, APIs, integrations with ticketing systems, knowledge bases, and CRMs
- Building AI agents and agentic workflows using LLM APIs, agent frameworks, tool use/MCP, and the monday.com platform
- Shaping agent behaviors, tool definitions, context strategies, and decision logic for reliability and cost efficiency
- Staying close to customers by reviewing real conversations and working with CS/Support teams
- Defining success criteria, running evaluations against real workflows, and using data to drive iterations
- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools as a core part of your workflow
- Staying current with the AI landscape and bringing valuable innovations to the team
The team operates without product managers, so every engineer owns the problem end-to-end. You'll work with TypeScript, Node.js, React, MySQL, Redis, AWS, LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, others), MCP, vector stores, and the monday.com platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development in production (TypeScript/Node.js and React or similar)
- Experience building a web application or service from scratch to production
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs: LLM APIs, tool use/function calling, prompt and context design (ideally in a product with real users)
- Solid engineering fundamentals: API design, data modeling, integrations via APIs and webhooks, running services reliably at scale
- Strong product orientation: care about user experience, ask why before how, comfortable scoping and prioritizing in a team without a product manager
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as a core part of your workflow
- Self-directed, energetic, actively exploring new AI tools and willing to ship and learn
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working directly with CS/Support teams and customers
- Advantageous: experience with agents in production (frameworks, MCP, evals, observability, RAG), Support/Customer Success use cases, or monday.com platform
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred but not required; focus is on what you've built
