We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Software Engineer 4) to take ownership of full-stack product solutions from design through implementation. You will drive proper coding processes, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior team members while working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and the UX team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with teammates to solve business needs and drive solutions for key business priorities
- Contributing across the complete development lifecycle: technical design, work estimation, implementation, testing, and addressing feedback or bugs
- Leading efforts to improve team productivity, culture, and code quality
- Conducting peer code reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Creating documentation and processes to enhance team productivity and transparency
You will work in a remote environment with occasional travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of software development experience and/or a reviewable portfolio of work
- Deep experience building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, always-available consumer-facing products
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- Frontend expertise with React/Next.js
- Experience with ORM and API development
- Experience coding components and working with Storybook
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud or similar technologies
- Seasoned estimation skills; ability to judge feature complexity and appropriately break down and size work
- Strong work ethic, follow-through on commitments, and high standards for self, team, company, and clients
- Proactive problem-solving approach with drive for measurable results
