Reveleer is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead test automation strategy and execution for a unified healthcare platform serving 80+ organizations. The platform spans risk adjustment, quality improvement, clinical intelligence, and member management for health plans and providers in value-based care.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end test automation strategy and roadmap, determining what gets automated, when, and why. You'll design and develop comprehensive automated tests across multiple layers: API and service-level tests for .NET backend services (including contract testing and mocking), end-to-end workflows validating UI-to-backend integration, and asynchronous/event-driven processes on AWS (Lambda, SQS/SNS, scheduled jobs). You'll write SQL queries to validate data integrity and state changes in SQL Server, and perform performance, load, and stress testing using tools like k6, JMeter, or NBomber.
Key responsibilities include mentoring junior automation engineers, conducting code reviews, leading cross-functional initiatives to improve testing velocity and reduce release cycles, and defining automation best practices across the engineering team. You'll partner with product and engineering leadership to identify testing gaps and compliance risks specific to healthcare workflows (HIPAA, PHI handling). You'll implement test failure analysis using AI-assisted tooling to quickly identify root causes and reduce manual triage. Additionally, you'll leverage AI-driven test case generation from requirements and API specifications to identify edge cases and improve coverage, and use automated tooling to establish performance baselines and flag regressions before production.
The role requires strong technical depth in test automation, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to mentor and influence across teams. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on regulatory compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with focus on testing and test automation of SaaS web applications and backend services
- Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with .NET test frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Experience with modern JavaScript-based end-to-end automation tools (Cypress, CodeceptJS, Playwright)
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (Postman, RestSharp, Pact for contract testing)
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience validating data in SQL Server
- Experience testing services and workflows on AWS (Lambda, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudWatch)
- Experience testing asynchronous, event-driven, or batch processing systems
- Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-starter mentality with proven ability to deliver in fast-paced environments
- Healthcare experience and familiarity with HIPAA and PHI handling highly preferred
