We are seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to join our growing team in El Segundo, CA. This is an onsite role with no remote work option.
In this position, you will:
- Design, characterize, and deliver digital signal processing algorithms including channelizers, frequency agile detection, adaptive filters, MIMO, wideband detectors, and signal sorting techniques
- Write and contribute to Python repositories using CUDA and PyTorch
- Own requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), and verification from concept through delivery
- Stay current with advances in signal processing techniques, adaptive beamforming, RF machine learning, and resilient positioning/navigation/timing (PNT) for GPS-denied operations
- Support critical test events that occasionally require extended hours and weekend work

REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or related field) with graduate-level emphasis in Signal Processing; OR Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline with 3–5 years of relevant Signal Processing experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python
- Willingness to support critical test events requiring extended hours/weekends
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or eligible for required State Department authorizations) due to access to U.S. export-controlled information
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years' experience with EW subsystems and payloads
- EA/ECM technique design (deception, Digital RF Memory, coherent/non-coherent techniques)
- Communications system design (LPI/LPD, Waveform-of-Interest exploitation)
- RF machine learning for emitter ID, modulation classification, anomaly detection, PDW creation
- Tools experience: ADS/AWR/SystemVue, MATLAB/Simulink, Python (NumPy/SciPy), GNU Radio/SDR (USRP/RFSoC), VITA-49, HDL/firmware (Vivado/Quartus/Libero)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility
- Field work supporting periodic travel for flight tests and customer demonstrations
- Builder-tester mindset with passion for first-principles RF, rapid lab iteration, and getting hardware flying fast
