In this role, you will work as a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in full-stack application development. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped product features. You'll communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success teams. You advocate for and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable software. Your technical skills are complemented by strong English communication abilities, both verbal and written.
This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 1 to 2 days per week in-office to support close cross-functional collaboration.
**Requirements:**
- 3 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in one or more of: Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript, with experience developing full-stack, high-performance, and high-availability applications
- Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns
- Experience building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD with commitment to quality software development
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB); comprehensive understanding of decision-making between SQL and NoSQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Demonstrated experience designing distributed systems with a holistic perspective
- Ability to keep up with latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity
- Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred
- Nice to have: Experience with NextJS or other front-end technologies
