Rezilient Health is a Series B healthtech company redefining primary care through its CloudClinic model, combining virtual provider visits with tech-enabled infrastructure to deliver accessible, patient-centered care. You will join as a Senior UX Designer in a hands-on individual-contributor role, owning end-to-end design across research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and post-launch iteration. Your initial focus is the member-facing mobile app experience, where you'll shape how members understand their health, connect with care teams, and take action between visits. Key areas you'll design include: member onboarding and care access; health and wearable data experiences that avoid overwhelming users; member-facing AI features (intake assistance, care navigation, education, follow-up) with clear boundaries and human handoffs; member-to-care-team connections and clinical workflows for medics, providers, and care navigators; care-team coordination with task queues and messaging; AI-assisted documentation and follow-up with appropriate clinician review; trust and control flows including consent, permissions, review, correction, and recovery; and reusable mobile design patterns and components. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, and Growth. Responsibilities include owning priority journeys from discovery through launch and iteration; collaborating in product discovery to define problems and explore alternatives; delivering polished interaction and visual designs with clear hierarchy and platform-appropriate patterns; conducting user research (interviews, concept tests, usability sessions) with members and care teams; using AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and prototyping while maintaining research integrity; building realistic prototypes in Figma; defining and documenting reusable design foundations; connecting design decisions to measurable member outcomes; designing responsibly with Clinical Operations and Compliance on safety and recovery flows; and participating in planning and delivery rituals to keep work well-scoped. AI is central to the role—you'll determine when AI improves an interaction versus when a simpler approach is better, and you'll design for transparency, user control, human review, and recovery when systems fail. REQUIREMENTS: Required: - 5+ years of UX, product design, or interaction design experience in high-growth, technology-enabled environments, with a track record of taking work from unclear problem through launch and iteration. - Deep consumer mobile experience: shipped a consumer health, wellness, or fitness app with substantial active users; can explain audience, scale, your contribution, and how the product evolved. - Strong interaction and visual design skills demonstrated in a portfolio of shipped mobile experiences, with clear problem definition, research, tradeoffs, and results (anonymized examples acceptable for confidential work). - Research and evaluation skills: experience learning directly from users and combining qualitative findings with product data to make and test design decisions. - Mobile and accessibility fundamentals: familiarity with iOS and Android patterns; ability to design for people with different abilities, health literacy levels, and technology comfort. - Strong Figma proficiency: component-based design, interactive prototyping, design systems, and clear communication of behavior and intent to engineers. - Sound AI design judgment: understanding of uncertainty, disclosure, review and correction, permissions, and human handoff; ability to reason about failure cases and avoid unwarranted trust in automated responses. - Thoughtful use of AI tools: fluency with AI-enabled design, research, and productivity tools; judgment about where they help versus where direct human research and review remain necessary. - Cross-functional ownership: proven ability to partner closely with Product and Engineering on small teams where priorities evolve and designers remain hands-on. - Systems thinking and communication: ability to simplify complex journeys, explain design rationale, facilitate tradeoff discussions, and incorporate clinical, technical, and business feedback without losing sight of member needs. Preferred: - Shipped AI-powered features with real users, including quality evaluation, error handling, and post-release learning. - Experience in care delivery or other regulated environments where privacy, clarity, and safety influence design. - Experience helping people build useful habits or follow through on health goals without manipulative patterns. - Work with wearable or device data, personalized health information, or experiences spanning an app and human care team. - Clinical workflow familiarity: documentation, referrals, care-team tasks, patient-provider messaging, or clinical data standards (FHIR, HL7). - Early-stage design practice: establishing practical design foundations and research habits on small teams while delivering hands-on product work.
