The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for critical product features. This is a hands-on technical role with leadership responsibilities for automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical product features
- Lead automation efforts for specific projects, ensuring efficient and effective test coverage
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated test scripts and frameworks
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the development process
- Monitor and report on the performance of automated tests and recommend improvements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation processes and tools
- Mentor junior automation engineers in best practices and tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in test automation or software development with a focus on testing
- Strategic thinking and exceptional problem-solving abilities
- High-level proficiency in relevant test automation tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with scripting languages
- Ability to lead complex projects, drive strategic initiatives, and influence decision-making
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
- Extensive knowledge of industry trends, company strategy, and cross-functional processes
- Understanding of scripting languages, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration
