Dragos is the global leader in xOT (extended operational technology) cybersecurity, protecting critical infrastructure systems including water, power, and healthcare. The company combines technology, threat intelligence, and expert services to defend against adversaries targeting industrial control systems worldwide.
The Senior Technical Instructor, Training & Enablement role is a hands-on, technical training position based in the APAC region (UAE). You will deliver instructor-led and virtual training to security teams, OT engineers, SOC operators, and plant personnel at Dragos customer organizations. This is not soft-skills training—courses are deeply technical, covering OT/ICS network visibility, asset identification, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response workflows, and the Dragos Platform itself.
You will travel to customer sites and facilitate lab-intensive sessions, teaching practitioners the skills they need to protect critical infrastructure. Students are experienced engineers and operators who will challenge you on technical depth and accuracy. You must be able to hold a room of practitioners, walk through platform configuration and network traffic analysis, and adapt delivery in real time based on audience background and comfort level.
Beyond delivery, you will contribute to curriculum design and content development. You will work closely with Dragos product teams and threat intelligence teams to keep course content current, reflecting both the platform as it ships and the threat landscape as it exists. You will coordinate with account and customer success teams prior to on-site engagements to understand audience profiles, deployment stages, and site-specific constraints. You will manage hands-on lab environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep sessions on track.
Based in APAC, you will be the primary training presence for this region, working with high autonomy and professional independence. The ideal candidate thrives when given broad ownership, sets their own pace, and holds themselves to a high standard without needing external structure.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Real, hands-on experience in OT/ICS environments (required)
- Ability to teach technically experienced audiences including engineers, SOC analysts, and plant operators
- Deep knowledge of OT/ICS security concepts, network visibility, threat detection, and incident response
- Proficiency with platform configuration, network traffic analysis, and security workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in lab environments in real time
- Strong communication and presentation skills for technical audiences
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site training delivery
- Self-directed, able to work independently with minimal external structure
