CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to build and manage a pipeline of top technical talent for the aerospace and space industry. The company develops advanced communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to identify, attract, and recruit top talent across various technical disciplines within aerospace. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities, from sourcing and screening candidates through offer negotiation. Your work will span multiple engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, software, and aerospace engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and develop recruitment strategies
- Proactively sourcing and engaging top-tier technical candidates using job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events
- Assessing the technical capabilities and aptitude of candidates for complex engineering roles
- Conducting full-cycle recruitment including screening, interviewing coordination, and offer extension
- Managing multiple high-priority technical requisitions simultaneously
- Developing and executing high-impact recruiting strategies and sourcing campaigns
- Building strong relationships with passive candidates and industry experts
This is a multifaceted role requiring strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to understand and communicate CesiumAstro's value proposition to candidates. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with cross-functional collaboration across engineering and business teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical recruiting within aerospace, space, and/or defense industries
- Prior career experience in aerospace industry or similar, working in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience recruiting for aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, and other engineering positions
- Strong preference for candidates with experience recruiting for electrical engineering disciplines (Digital Hardware, Power Electronics, FPGA, RF, Antenna Design)
- Strong networking skills and ability to connect with passive candidates
- Proven full-cycle recruiting experience (screening, consulting with hiring managers, facilitating interviews, extending offers)
- Demonstrated ability with recruiting techniques including cold calling, planning networking events, locating industry experts, and developing focused sourcing campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority technical requisitions simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
