Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

As a Senior Systems Engineer for C2 Integration, you will lead end-to-end solution development by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture. You'll design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments, with particular focus on command and control integration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading development for end-to-end solutions through cross-functional collaboration on requirements and system architecture
- Designing, developing, and maintaining system components meeting functional and performance requirements in complex environments
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications in distributed systems contexts
- Working closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
- Collaborating to define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
The role requires hands-on experience with simulation and rapid prototyping to drive complex electro-mechanical and aero-performance design trades, supporting engineering product development, production, and sustainment through the entire product lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of post-graduate industry experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering
- Passion for systems design development, integration, and test
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience
- Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using common languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sincere commitment to positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for test planning and execution
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hands-on experience with complex robotic systems
- Familiarity with IP-based networks
- Experience with mission systems, including communications systems and components
- Familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations
