Moss is a Finance AI platform for Europe's mid-market, automating card issuing, invoice management, and expenses. The company recently closed a €35M Series C (August 2026), achieving €1B+ valuation and unicorn status. You'll be one of the first two hires building Moss's strategic partnerships function from scratch.
In this build-phase role, you'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic partnerships: sourcing target platforms that align with Moss's customer base and growth priorities, navigating complex partner organizations to reach decision-makers (from founders to C-suite), building commercial and technical cases, and driving each partnership from initial contact through to live, revenue-generating integration.
You'll define your own playbook rather than follow an existing one. You'll report to the Senior Director of Partnerships and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering on integration scope and delivery, and with the Channel team on ERP integrator alignment. Responsibilities include identifying high-potential platforms, securing buy-in from both Moss leadership and partner stakeholders, owning partnership delivery against Moss's API and roadmap, and continuously prioritizing partners by revenue potential and strategic fit.
Moss is a 300+ person team across 5 European offices, founded in Berlin, used by 10,000+ businesses including Flink, Schufa, n8n, and Auto1. The company operates in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and further EU markets.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in business development or partnerships within B2B SaaS, fintech, cloud, or payments
- At least 2 years specifically in strategic partnerships or integration-led partner roles, with demonstrated experience building relationships from scratch (not managing existing books)
- Working knowledge of APIs and how software platforms integrate with external systems
- Thrives with full ownership of a plan and pipeline without day-to-day direction
- Brings structure to ambiguous, still-being-built processes and partnerships
- Communicates progress, blockers, and trade-offs clearly across product, engineering, and leadership
- Balances ambition with realism, adjusting timelines to partner readiness and internal constraints
