Salary: USD 110,000 - 194,000 / annual

Devoted Health is seeking an experienced Senior Stock Plan Administrator to own and scale the company's equity plan operations. This is a strategic individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Corporate Finance, responsible for developing and running a best-in-class equity administration function that is accurate, compliant, and scalable as the company grows. Key responsibilities include: overseeing daily equity plan operations in Carta (grant processing, option exercises, cancellations, repurchases, cap table management); evaluating and implementing new equity administration tools; managing monthly and quarterly reconciliations and reporting; administering equity transactions compliantly, including liquidity events; building and optimizing processes for option exercises and equity transactions; supporting development of equity plan tax policies in partnership with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Payroll; designing and documenting standard operating procedures and internal controls; managing the 409A valuation process and its downstream effects; leading HRIS and payroll system integrations to eliminate manual reconciliation; developing automated tax withholding and payroll integration workflows; creating scalable processes to support multi-year private company growth; coordinating tax calculations and withholding reporting (Forms 3921/3922, W-2 treatment); supporting introduction of new instruments such as RSUs; providing guidance to managers and employees on equity matters; and managing equity information verification from non-employee shareholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex, cross-functional environment and wants to build equity administration infrastructure from the ground up at a high-growth healthcare company. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years in equity plan administration, stock plan management, or related field - Hands-on administrator-level experience with Carta; Shareworks and other platforms a plus - Strong knowledge of equity compensation principles and tax treatment (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs) - Experience with private company liquidity events - Proficiency with payroll systems integration and tax withholding processes - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex equity concepts to employees DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation - Experience at high-growth private company with wide shareholder base - Hands-on experience administering private company liquidity events - Experience evaluating and introducing new equity instruments (e.g., RSUs) - Knowledge of US and international equity compensation and tax requirements - Familiarity with ASC 718 stock-based compensation and internal controls - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and modeling experience - Strong project management skills for complex, cross-functional initiatives
